The countdown has begun! We're less than 30 days away from TEXAS! Right now, Ben and I are busy working out lots of little details to orchestrate moving a family from one state to another. We're so thankful to have sold and closed on our Raymond house so quickly and that we are being allowed to live here till we go to TX. We very excited about our new house although we haven't closed yet, so I'll wait awhile to send out new contact info.
The movers come May 19th and start packing! The next day they'll load and then travel on the third day. We will travel the same day they do with our van and maxima loaded with suitcases, plants and whatever else. We haven't figured out where we'll stay but that's a minor detail. On the morning of Thursday, May 22, we'll be at our new house waiting for the movers to unload. They'll bow out that afternoon and it will be up to Ben and I and the kids to unpack. Something tells me Nathan will be really good at it! :)

Can't believe the time is here! Just remember - you do not go alone. Our Father has been preparing you and your family for this time and has great things planned for you in TX. Of course, they may not always be recognizable as great, they may be downright troubling, but all will ultimately equip you to do His work well. We pray for you a smooth transition and should that not be the case, then at least some fun, some quirks, some educational and humorous lessons that you'll be able to fondly reminisce about in the not too distant future! Keep up the great blog - we will be reading! Sending with you all of our love (Dave, have you taped that box for TX yet? Do the kids have air holes for trip?!)....J/K
