I am so thankful for this house! We tested its limits this weekend and it passed! We had 35 students here at one time! We bought the house hoping that the open layout and multiple conversation areas would lend itself to a crowd. We had a group watching the game, two rooms of card games going and a crowd in the dinette hanging out. If it had not been so windy, I think our fire pit and patio would have been fun too.

Pajamas
The other night, the kids were playing so well after dinner that time got away from me and I realized it was gonna be a slightly later night than usual for getting the kids to bed. I called to Hannah to come get her pajamas on as I went to her room to locate those pajamas. Digging in her drawer, I didn't even look up as I heard the rustling of little feet behind me. I whipped out one pair, silky blue with puppies on it and still looking down in the drawer, grabbed another pair, bright pink with princesses on it.
"Which one do you want, these or these?"
Just as I looked up to see Nathan standing there, he answered, "this one!" pointing to the bright girly pink ones. And he was smirking with a little grin of mischief, like he knew he was being totally silly.
All I could do was laugh and grab him and tickle him. God knew I needed that humor right then and i'm so thankful for the way my kids can make me smile at the end of a long day.
