Such sweet kiddos! Our first grade class was smaller then what Lindsey and I expected but we enjoyed being able to get to know the kids well, listen to their stories, learn the verses together and have lots of campouts in the tent in our room! Why didn't I get a pic of the tent??!!

Miss Stephanie gave a big hand to the 3's and 4's classes. Nathan was a big boy this year and was placed in the 3's class.

I am having trouble getting these pics on facebook so I decided to just put them here. I haven't blogged much this summer but that is because we've had such a
jam packed summer! It's been
wonderful and except for the headache I had last night at the ball fields, i've been doing very well in the migraine department. I'm so thankful for meds that work. That med I took last night did the trick. But now, i'm awake at 4 in the am. Not sure how that's related but whatever. At least I'm not in pain!
I do have lots of fun pics from the weeks past. Part of the reason I've not blogged as much is because Ben's computer is the only one that really works. Mine is starting to bite the dust, but not enough to call it completely dead. So, i don't do much blogging unless Ben is home and then I'd rather be with him and the kids.
But I'm not giving up, so stay tuned!!! But to fill you in on what the Hailey's have been up to,
we're currently in the recovery mode. And the house really looks like it too! I just got the last bag unpacked yesterday. We've had several non stop weeks,
being in MS visiting all the family and then Ben and I got 5 days in Atlanta with RUF training. The kids had a wonderful time with GaGa. Then it was back home to Texas to participate in VBS and the week was super fun and quick but needless to say we're weary. On Sunday, I took a THREE hour nap! You know, the kind of nap where you put in earplugs and don't move for several hours.
The kids have bounced back super quick from all the busyness and
i'm challenged to keep them entertained while I try to recover normal life. It's amazing how they feel like one day at home is just not up to par with "going somewhere". I worked so hard yesterday to help them be happy just playing in their own backyard with the hose/sprinkler system. It worked for a bit but then they moved on... And the night before didn't go so well as I told them TV time was up and that they were blessed to have so many nice toys so go play with some of them while I finished cooking supper,etc, etc and
Nathan decided to fill up the entire toilet with some of those nice toys! But they have been so fun lately as they anticipate Daddy coming home every day so they can play "daddy tackle". And when Daddy is unavailable, it's "Momma tackle"!!! I don't quite have the stamina for tackle/tickle like Ben does, but I sure give it a try!
We are excited about the school year beginning. Ben said the other day,
the fall is coming, he could smell it. And I know what he means. There's been lots to do in getting ready for the semester and more still to do. Ben has been working hard to have an RUF presence at Impact, a christian camp several hours north of BCS where many aggies participate. He will go again today so pray for those efforts to be blessed. He's had several current RUF students join him in this effort.
We're excited for the new school year to start. A little sad too.
Hannah will start kindergarten in September but only half day so maybe that will give her parents time to adjust emotionally. We're thankful for the opportunity she has. And trusting God's provision for another year of life in the glass house. :)
Hannah's kitchen arrived late last week and Ben put it together for her right away. We ordered it from Amazon and are very pleased! Thanks GaGa and Mawmaw!
